Shadewings, or shades as they are commonly called, are the darker, moodier cousin of the magical fairyfly. While these fae creatures often make their homes in blackthorn bushes, they only ever become visible to mortal eyes during a full moon. Shadewings are said to carry the beauty of the night’s sky on their backs; their iridescent wings glitter with the light of a thousand twinkling stars and the mystery of the deepest parts of the woods.
